Thank you to all the participants in the first edition of  “Small Town, Big Heart!” We are deeply honored by the trust you have placed in Arlington Public News to deliver your Valentine messages to your loved ones. Please click on the banner to view your messages. We were forced to cancel three dates and times due to the never-ending blizzard, but we still received an overwhelming response in Capitol Square and at the Fox Library. “Small Town, Big Heart” is a project created by Yawa Degboe, assisted by the staff at Arlington Community Media (ACMi), and enthusiastic volunteers – Cyn, Charlotte Milan, Julia Bloom, and Walter Locke. Without further ado, we would like to announce the winners of our Valentine’s raffle sponsored by local businesses:

Alberto Pamo

wins a $25.00 “Shop Arlington First” Gift Certificate from the Arlington Chamber of Commerce

Michelle Oldershaw

wins 2 dozens cookies from Lakota Bakery

Carole Belgrade

wins a Play Date for Two with a value of $25 from Artbeat

Bob Penta

wins a $15 Gift Certificate from Something Sweet Without Wheat

Winners can pick up their prizes at ACMi Studio A, 85 Park Ave, Arlington or contact news@acmi.tv to make specific arrangements. A special thank you to Dorian Color, a local photographic printing company, which provided “Small Town, Big Heart” with its beautiful photo booth backdrop.

Until we meet you again next year, we want to encourage you to take advantage of the many resources available at ACMi and its news division, Arlington Public News. We provide video production workshops, camera equipment, and access to state-of-the-art studios located in Arlington Heights and Arlington Center. We look forward to hearing from you!

Happy Valentine’s Day,

Arlington Public News
