What is the Community Bulletin Board?
The Community Bulletin Board (CBB) is a slide show of announcements for the Arlington community, presented on our three cable channels between television programming.
Content
A CBB slide usually has the who, what, when and where of your event or announcement, as well as a logo or photograph. Each individual or organization can have up to 3 slides, but it is better to contain individual announcements to one slide
Format
Each CBB slide must be a 4:3 landscape orientation (see diagram below for Landscape description), 800px wide by 600px tall, with a minimum font size of 28pt, and should leave a large enough margin so content doesn’t get clipped off by older TVs (about ½ to 1 inch). When submitting your slide, please submit a .PPT, .JPG, or .PNG file.
Templates
We encourage you to be creative with your slides, but you can use this set of templates for Microsoft Powerpoint and Word, as well as for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Restrictions
No commercial announcements, advertising, or direct appeals for funds will be accepted. ACMi reserves the right, at its discretion, to edit or reject any announcement. Neither ACMI, nor its Board or Staff are responsible for any mistakes submitted via this form for cablecast on the ACMI CBB.
Posting
Once we receive your announcement, we will place it on the appropriate channel, as long as it is correctly formatted. Please allow up to two weeks for you announcement to appear in rotation.
