Once we receive your announcement, we will place it on the appropriate channel, as long as it is of appropriate content, and is correctly formatted.
A correctly formatted announcement will be either a Power Point Slide with an aspect ratio of 4:3 landscape (see diagram below for Landscape description), or an 800px wide by 600px tall JPG/PNG file.
In either case, it is required that a minimum font size of 28pt is used in the production of your slide, to ensure legibility on television. You may have up to three consecutive slides but we prefer that you limit your information to one slide per announcement if possible. You should remember to be short and to the point so the viewer is able to read all of your information while your slide is on the air.
ACMI reserves the right, at its discretion, to edit or reject any announcement. Neither ACMI, nor its Board or Staff are responsible for any mistakes submitted via this form for cablecast on the ACMI CBB. No commercial announcements, advertising, or direct appeals for funds will be accepted.
CBB announcements are updated weekly, but please allow up to two weeks from the time of your submission. Please also feel free to contact the studio if you have any questions about this procedure.
