Arlington Babe Ruth president, James “Robes” Robillard, passed away on Monday, July 6th. “Robes” was a beloved Arlingtonian, who was part of the Arlington Babe Ruth Baseball for 50+ years, and was inducted into the Babe Ruth Baseball Hall of Fame on November 2014.

To honor “Robes” work and legacy, the Arlington Board of Selectmen approved renaming Summer Street Field in his honor. The dedication event, planned for June 28th, was delayed due to weather and Jim’s health.
