Ingredients:
For the dough 1 1/2 cups flour 5 TBSP butter 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar a pinch of salt 1 egg yolk ½ tsp pure vanilla extract 2 TBSP cold water For the cream 1 cup/225g of mascarpone 1 TBSP of granulated sugar. 1 pound of strawberries. Prepare the dough In a large mixing bowl beat the confectioners’ sugar, the butter until it becomes a paste. Add the egg yolk, some vanilla and mix again. Then stir in the flour and the salt. Add water as much as you need, the dough must be smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic film. Refrigerate for 30mn During that time mix in a bowl the mascarpone with the sugar. Preheat the oven at 325F Grease the pan, roll the dough and line the pan with the dough, prick with a fork. Place a sheet of parchment paper on top and add pie weights. Bake for 20mn, remove the paper and the weights. Let’s cool down completely the tart. Spread some of the mixture of mascarpone and sugar on top of the crust. Arrange the strawberries, cut in ¼ inch and decorate with confectionary sugar.
