Hey everyone, I'm Lawrence Xu! I'm from Beijing, China and currently study in Tufts University. I absolutely love watching movies, playing games, and fictional writing. If I had to choose a favorite film, it would be Spirited Away. Though, La La Land is not far from it. I've come to ACMi to learn everything I can about production and filmmaking. And so far, the experience has already exceeded beyond my expectations!

Miguel Nascimento, graduate of Arlington High School, heading to Hofstra University in the fall to study Film, Video & TV Production. I first caught the film bug at Phillips Academy after joining the Film Club and being cast in their feature length film due to come out this fall. It is my goal to be a Film actor and I have so far been cast in one feature film: Slender Man (2018) and one short film: Sunlit (2018). My backup plan it to work in the Film industry in any capacity available. As an intern at AMCi I am learning all aspects of TV program production including, editing, filming, camera work, audio control, lighting setup, and stage set up. It has been a great experience and the staff are very supportive.

Sebastean Gonzalez-Johnson is a senior at Tufts University studying Film & Media and Entrepreneurship. Although Sebastean enjoys camera work and post-production, being an on-screen personality aligns more with his ambitions. Using the skills he's acquired at ACMi as a complement to his business background, Sebastean's ultimate goal is to develop his own media agency that would allow him to create marketing and advertising campaigns for clients while having the ability to produce content.

Emerson Alum and assistant News Director Brenda Mahoney has been teaching me the ropes of reporting here at ACMi and has allowed me to just jump right in. Jeff Barnd is the new News Director at ACMi and he's been nothing but welcoming–I can't wait to learn all of his storytelling and reporting skills during my time here.
