Sara Alfaro-Franco

About the Member:

Sara Alfaro-Franco became News Director for ACMi’s Arlington Public News (APN) in July 2012. For the previous two years she served as the ACMi Government Access Coordinator. Sara, an Arlington Studio and ACMi volunteer for a decade prior to her hiring, was involved in many productions during that time as producer, director, editor, camera operator, production assistant, crew member, and coffee fetcher. As a filmmaker, she has a passion for videography, oral history, involvement in her community, and opportunities for learning and teaching. At the ACMi Awards in June 2010, Sara garnered the highest producer award, Best Overall Producer. You can contact Sara at sara@acmi.tv.
