Wellington graduated in law and became licensed to practice. He taught law in South Africa during the apartheid years. After travels outside South Africa, he acquired a Green Card and eventually citizenship of the United States of America. Presently, he teaches South African languages at Harvard University and the Boston Language Institute. Wellington is a participating Arlington Public News team member to continue in his endeavor to be an active informed Arlington resident.
