The First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Arlington is located at the corner of Pleasant Street and Mass Ave. On Tuesday June 4th, the clock got a much needed upgrade, which required a big crane. Each face of the clock has its own electronic motor that drives the hands – which failed a couple of years ago due to wear and tear. The hands on the clock along with the control mechanism for all 4 motors were also replaced. The original clock was installed in 1989. The work was completed thanks to the efforts of Jeff Roberts of the First Parish Property committee who took the lead on making the repairs happen. We want to thank Office Manager Joan Dyer for her help on this story.
