“Arts Arlington” Highlights ACMi’s Community Partnerships

One of the aspects of ACMi’s core mission that we most enjoy is our commitment to partnering with nonprofits that operate in and around Arlington. A partnership that has us very excited at the moment is with two local organizations: the Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture, and Arlington Public Art.

The result of our collaboration is “Arts Arlington,” a new program that will highlight arts and culture activity in town, and serve as a companion to the ArtsArlington.org website – a free, all-in-one arts website containing a comprehensive arts calendar, a cultural district reference, artists’ resources section, and more.

You can link to the first episode in this series here – its focus is the individual art on display at bus stops throughout town, as well as public murals at Za Restaurant and the Global Gas Station that are garnering a lot of attention.

We are excited about the prospects for this series going forward, and about sharing with you the fruits of our other Community Partnerships!
