As ACAC’s Artist-in-Residence, Michelle Lougee is leading Plarn Art to Save the Planet – a collaborative community art project for the Minuteman Bikeway transforming plastic bags into public art. In this video Lougee teaches you how to make “plarn” — a plastic yarn — by cutting up single use plastic bags. If you make plarn, PLEASE DO NOT COLLECT BAGS FROM FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS DURING THE PANDEMIC to stop the possible spread of the Corona Virus and COVID-19.
