In June the Select Board proclaimed July 13th Black Lives Matter Day in Arlington. Black Lives Matter Day was the perfect opportunity to talk to Zane Crute of the Mystic Valley Area Branch of the NAACP about the extraordinary events of this year including Arlington High Schools reexamination of its own emblem, statues that have been toppled nation wide, and professional sports team owners who are finally succumbing to pressure.
