80 years ago this week, world history turned upside down. On December 7th 1941, the Japanese empire attacked Pearl Harbor, Hawaii by sea and air. President Franklin D. Roosevelt called it “a date which will live in infamy.” The U.S.A. was suddenly thrust into the second world war.
