Did you know that Arlington has a Japanese sister city? Every year, a group of students from Nagaokakyo – a small city in central Japan – come for a two-week visit to Arlington as part of our cultural exchange program. We’re lucky that ACMi is a staple in their itinerary, which is always a highlight of the visit, for them and for us! This year was no different, as an ebullient group of 16 middle-schoolers and their chaperones threw themselves into making an impromptu newscast, taking on a number of roles on both sides of the cameras, and even serenading us with a familiar song!
