Arlington Community Media’s newest staff member and Government Access Coordinator, Jessica Barnthouse, is offering ACMI’s first ever animation workshop for adults.
This hands-on series of animation classes will cover stop-motion animation from theory to practice. Students will be working in groups with a variety of mediums, including paper, clay, legos, and whatever else folks bring in to animate. The finished short films will be screened at an evening outdoor animation festival at Robbins Farm Park on Friday, August 9 at 8:30pm (rain date: August 10). Start brainstorming now your animation ideas and bring anything you want to animate to the first class on June 4th.
