The weather was unusually dicey on both sides of Town Day this year, but the fates smiled upon all of us and provided a magnificent backdrop for the thousands of area residents in attendance. As always, ACMi was all over the event, welcoming dozens of visitors to our booth, ensuring that all the acts on the main stage sounded great, and of course broadcasting the entire event live! It was not only all hands on deck for the ACMi staff, but interns and volunteers also made invaluable contributions to a wholly successful day. As we often describe it, Town Day was once again the most exhausting and exhilarating day of ACMi’s year.
We want to give a huge thanks to all those who helped us with Town Day, including the enormously generous donations of food and drink from a variety of local businesses – Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Stop & Shop, Arlington House of Pizza, and Dunkin. We consider ourselves very lucky to be part of a community in which area businesses and franchises share their resources so generously. THANK YOU, one and all!
