Jasper Hamilton is an independent filmmaker, videographer and editor, who got his start at ACMi some years ago while still a student at Arlington High School. Through ACMi’s youth program, Jasper developed a strong foundation in live television and videography, from pre- through post-production. While studying Film Production at Emerson College, Jasper worked in the Digital Post Lab (DPL) and the Journalism Production Center (JPC). After graduating, he worked as a freelance videographer and editor for organizations such as Gateway Productions, MassArt School of Architecture, and Harvard University. In 2020, he began a fellowship at the Bok Center for Teaching and Learning at Harvard, where he led workshops in post production, and assisted professors in creating materials for their courses. When there was an opening to lead the Youth Program at ACMi, Jasper couldn’t resist the opportunity to impart to students the same knowledge and experience he received in high school. It’s a big job for sure, but Jasper has all the tools to pull it off!
