New safety protocols are coming to Arlington Schools. School officials recently held an information session on ALICE. It’s a program used nationally that calls for students and staff to be Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate in the instance of an intruder. APN spoke with the School Superintendent and safety officials about why the new guidelines are needed and what it means for students and parents.
