The opiate crisis claimed more lives in Massachusetts last year than initially estimated. In conjunction with its door-to-door outreach which is called The Arlington Outreach Initiative, the Arlington Police Department is teaming up with many organizations including Wicked Sober and the AIDS Action Committee, and has established the Arlington A.C.T.S. program (Addiction Community Training & Support) to break the stigma of addiction.
