Snap Shot: Gender Identity & Zoning Bylaws

The Arlington Human Rights Commission is looking to join 12 other cities in Massachusetts that have nondiscrimination laws protecting gender identity. Through a warrant article they’re sponsoring, the Commission is seeking expanded protections for gender diversity in Arlington.

Also, the other public meeting dealt with warrant articles that propose changes to zoning bylaws, including looking to expand mixed use of commercial space and reduce the need for special parking permits in business and multi-family residential zones.
