On April 12, 2018, Skylar, a Great Horned Owlet, took a misstep while branching at Fresh Pond in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and fell out of the tree. It fell to the ground, its wings instinctively opening for a soft landing. If didn’t look hurt, but there was no way to know for sure.
