How To: The Blue Bowl

As ACAC’s Artist-in-Residence, Michelle Lougee is leading “Plarn Art to Save the Planet” – a collaborative community art project for the Minuteman Bikeway transforming plastic bags into public art. In this video, Lougee teaches you how to crochet a bowl shaped component; you will need blue plarn and a size “J” (or close to) crochet hook to contribute this component to the project. A similar shape, a “cup” that is a smaller size, can be made with other colors if you do not have blue; there is a worksheet available for the cup on the resources section of our website.

More information at https://www.artsarlington.org/residency. Plarn Art to Save the Planet! is hosted by the Arlington Public Libraries and funded in part by grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Friends of the Fox Library, and ACAC’s Grants Committee.
