Sarangi virtuoso Maestro Kamal Sabri plays a classical Indian raga on “the instrument closest to the human voice,” displaying a range of musical emotions from lyrical yearning to intensely celebratory. The sarangi with its “hundreds of musical tones” is ideally suited to the nuances of the classical raga.
