Thousands attended this years National Ovarian Cancer Coalition Walk at Carson Beach. Put on by the organization’s Arlington-based Massachusetts chapter, the event offered an opportunity to show support to loved ones battling ovarian cancer.
The NOCC Walk also shined a spotlight on the need to continue fundraising for ovarian cancer research. At last year’s walk, over 1,300Â participants raised more than $250,000.
