Ottoson Middle School in Arlington, MA performed the play Beauty and the Beast Jr. on April 29, 2017 in the Ottoson Wood Gym. Watch as cast members Amy Scoggins plays the lead character Belle, Sam Dieringer is the Beast, Franco D’Agostino is Gaston, Nathan Skoczenski as LeFou, Gemma Conway as Mrs. Potts, Chandler Betts is Lumiere, Khalil Waldron is Cogsworth, and more.
In Beauty and the Beast JR., the brainy and beautiful girl Belle yearns to escape her provincial life… and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle gets more adventure than she wanted when she becomes a captive in the Beast’s enchanted castle! Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills in this beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.
