Sharps are not allowed to be disposed of in the trash because of safety reasons. The DPW has teamed up with Health and Human services to offer a collection of medical sharps.-The next collection dates are February 6, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to noon and on May 14, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. APN spoke to Jim Feeney, Health Compliance Officer, to find out more.
