Stereotypes: A Conscious Look at Race, Faith, Gender, and Sexual Identity

Through March and April, the Arlington Center for the Arts, in co-sponsorship with the Vision 2020 Diversity Task Group, will play host to a new photography exhibit, entitled: Stereotypes: A Conscious Look at Race, Faith, Gender, and Sexual Identity. News intern Katie Chang spoke with the Diversity Task Group’s point person, Mary Harrison, and the ACA’s Executive Director, Linda Shoemaker, about their role in bringing the exhibit together.

Stereotypes Exhibit at ACA Info

The exhibit will be on view from now through April 15th in the Gibbs Gallery, Monday-Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. Additionally, Kevin Briggs, the founder and photographer, will be present in the gallery on April 2nd at 2 PM to discuss the photographs with those in attendance.
