A two-alarm fire at the Thai Moon restaurant in Arlington Center caused an estimated $500,000 of damage to the business, according to Arlington Fire Chief Kevin Kelley. A GoFundMe page has been established to support the restaurant through this traumatic episode in their 16 year history.
Fire Chief Kelley also wants to acknowledge the fire departments of our neighboring communities – Cambridge, Belmont, Winchester, and Medford – for their assistance in combating this fire. Some of the funds from the GoFundMe campaign will go to help the staff who rely on tips until they can once again open for business, says Thai Moon on their Facebook page.
