Traffic Safety in Arlington

An East Arlington neighborhood is mourning the death of a beloved long-time resident. 91 year-old William Dotson was struck and killed by a car on Massachusetts Avenue March twenty-third. The Boston Globe reports that the World War Two veteran walked the neighborhood by Henderson Street every day–stopping by the Fox Library and local businesses. To get a better understanding of the challenges facing pedestrians, cars, and bicycles sharing the road, APN spoke to Police Captain Richard Flynn about traffic incidents around town.
