Wide Angle: Episode 22 – War Tax Resistance – Web Extra

There is no memory of any US president or presidential hopeful ever publicly stating that it makes good sense–business or otherwise–to pay as little in taxes as possible. Until this past Fall. With that example–and tax day approaching–it seemed a good time to explore a more principled stand against taxes.
Joining Peter to discuss war tax resistance are two guests: Mary Regan has been a war tax resister since 1983 and is a long-time board member of New England War Tax Resistance. Professor Lawrence Rosenwald is editor of the anthology, War No More: Three Centuries of American Antiwar and Peace Writing, and director of the Program in Peace and Justice Studies at Wellesley College.
