In this installment of Your Arlington Dollar, our resident experts Dean Carman and Annie LaCourt analyze the significance of the decisions made at the recent Special Town Meeting. The warrant articles that were considered and passed at that Meeting mean that the Stratton School will indeed be renovated, the Thompson School will get much-needed help to accommodate the dramatic rise in their enrollment, and a new Regional Agreement for Minuteman Vocational High School was approved, clearing the way for that school’s rebuild as well. It was a remarkably productive Special Town Meeting, and Annie and Dean guide us through the implications of the decisions made.
