Arlington will hold its Memorial Day services on Monday, May 28 beginning at 9:30 in the morning at Town Hall, followed by a wreath laying at Mount Pleasant Cemetary. ACMi will cover the event in it’s entirety.
This year’s key-note speaker is Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Michael Strobl. He made it his personal duty to escort the remains of a fallen marine home, his story later turned into an HBO film.
The Regent Theater will hold a special free screening of the movie “Taking Chance” with a question and answer period with Lieutenant Colonel Strobl at 2:00 in the afternoon on Memorial Day.
