It’s no secret that with Arlington residents staying home, the fields are empty and there’s virtually no traffic whatsoever, especially along Mass Ave. As a result of people staying home there’s been an uptick in animal sightings. Turkeys, raccoons, even coyotes. They seem to be reclaiming their territory. Not only that, it’s springtime, when creatures roam the countryside looking for food for their babies.
We had a chance to speak with Arlington’s Animal Control Officer Diane Welch. She tells us, although we may have retired to our humble abodes, the animals are going to be animals.
