A presentation was made before the Select Board this week for a very ambition project for 1156 Mass Ave. It would involve upgrading some of the Mill Brook buildings behind the Mirak Hyundai dealership and converting them into apartments. Some leaders say it maintains the unique look of Arlington and repurposes the buildings for a practical 21st century end use. As you might expect, a project of this size comes with a lot of discussion and differing ideas.
