Arlington was awarded a $16,000 grant for the design and engineering of a trail connecting the reservoir to the Minuteman Bikeway. The project was on of 55 in the state to receive a MassTrails grant this year. Grant funding was announced Friday, July 31st by the Department of Conservation & Recreation.

In other news, as if 2020 hasn’t dealt us enough already. The state Department of Public Health detects traces of the West Nile virus in mosquitoes found in Arlington. We have some tips to help keep you safe.
