Here are just a few ways you can get involved with creating media yourself here at ACMi!
Ride with the Studio Knights! Almost every Wednesday evening, beginning at 6 pm, ACMi invites local volunteers and producers of all shapes & sizes (and ages and levels of experience) to hang out and learn new skills! You can be part of the crew for a production; take a workshop on how to make documentaries or animations or feature films; or work on a group project promoting or covering a town event. What you can rely on each and every time, though, is meeting, collaborating, and connecting with community members…and pizza! It’s a lot of fun – come see for yourself!

From Green Teams in the elementary schools, to the Ottoson Media Group, to a number of different production groups operating in the high school, there are many opportunities for Arlington’s youth to make TV! Join to volunteer, learn video production skills, make new friends, create your own film…
We also collaborate with AHS music technology classes, provide extensive coverage of high school sports, and film school performances and musicals – and you are welcome to join us for any and all of those projects!
The ACMi News program relies on interns and citizen journalists to produce weekly, locally focused news. Contact news@acmi.tv if you’d like to become a citizen journalist!
