The developers of the proposed project on the Mugar Property presented their plans to the public. OakTree Development met with residents and neighbors of the planned 219-unit housing complex at a meeting on Thursday, May 21 at the Hardy School. Those opposed to the proposal include The Coalition to Save Mugar Wetlands, which fears that developing 7 of the 17 acres of open land by Route 2 will cause flooding problems. OakTree representatives say they respect the hydrological issues and value an open dialogue.
