The Relay for Life is an event where participants create teams that raise money for the American Cancer Society. All the fundraising is done prior to the event. During the actual event, which took place on June 13th and 14th, survivors of cancer and those who were not so lucky are remembered. A huge part of the the Relay for Life is the Luminaria ceremony. In this ceremony, we see how many people are really touched by cancer. This event is really amazing because of the amount of youth that participate.
