Italian Heritage Month is the time of year when the community comes together to honor Italian-Americans who have helped grow our society. In October 2015, two Arlingtonians received Italian Heritage Awards for their role in the community as well as musical talent. Sabatino D’Agostino, Arlington High School’s band and orchestra conductor, received an Italian Heritage Award for his Leadership in Music Education. In addition, sophomore Isabella Costantino-Carrigan recieved an Italian Heritage Award for her Excellence in Music. APN spoke to the winners.
