You Speak | School Debt Exclusion

APN asks residents what they think of the upcoming proposition 2½ debt exclusion ballot question which would authorize spending to rebuild Arlington’s schools as well as Minuteman High School. Specifically, the town is asking voters to approve an increase in property taxes to fund an addition to the Thompson Elementary School and re-opening the Gibbs School for middle-schooler, as well as paying for a feasibility study for remodeling Arlington high school and to pay for a portion of a new Minuteman Regional High School. APN and ACMi sent out their new batch of summer interns and volunteers to see what residents has to say. You may find the full text of the ballot questions here: http://arlingtonma.gov/home/showdocument?id=30099. The special election will be held Tuesday, June 14th. Polls will be open from 7am to 8pm.
