For months, ACMi Operations Manager Jeff Munro and Youth Coordinator Jasper Hamilton have been working tirelessly to make this, our third iteration of Studio B, into the state-of-the-art facility you see in the brief clip below. From sound proofing to installing new shelving to adding a colorful array of LED lighting, their aim has been to create a creative space that students can treat as a clean slate upon which to let their own imaginations run wild.
In addition to the pristine new studio itself, Studio B includes space for instruction, an edit lab and classroom with four full suites, and even a professional-grade edit suite that will allow for advanced techniques to fine tune video content, including color correction. As you can see from the happy faces below, the students themselves are eager to explore the opportunities this gorgeous new space will offer. And we can’t wait to see what they do with it!
