Judging from how closely residents have followed the process thus far, Arlington’s status as an MBTA community and the impact it will have on housing development in town is the subject of intense public interest. Hundreds of residents packed the auditorium in Town Hall recently to hear from the MBTA Communities Working Group, and to register their own strongly-held views on this controversial subject.
