The ACMi studio played host on Thursday evening May 26th to a public forum conversation about the pros and cons of the proposed tax override to be voted on Tuesday June 7th.
Arlington Advocate editor, Andy Levin and chief reporter Maria Chutchian moderated the discussion. Speaking on behalf of the proposed override were Dan Dunn and Kirsi Allison-Ampe, both of whom are Arlington School Committee members and part of the pro-override campaign. Speaking in opposition to the proposed override were Joe Boike of the Committee for Responsible Spending, and Arlington resident, Paul Peterson.
The half-hour program will be shown on ACMI’s Government Channel (Comcast 10, RCN 15, Verizon 26) on Monday May 30th at 6:30PM, Thursday June 2nd at 7PM, Friday June 3rd at 6PM and Monday June 6th at 6:30PM
