ACMi has worked with the Arlington Martin Luther King Committee to produce a virtual observance for Monday, January 17th at 7:30PM. Please join us in celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. The evening’s program will honor this American icon for his wisdom, his grace, and his incalculable contributions to the advancement of civil rights in the country. From speeches and testimonials to the community chorus assembled specifically for the occasion, it promises to be a fitting (virtual) tribute, and ACMi is proud to play its part in producing the event itself, and in making it available on our channels and our website for repeated viewing thereafter.
Watch LIVE at acmi.tv/publive at 7:30PM on January 17th or on the Public Channels: RCN 629, Verizon 31, Comcast 8. Also available on the Government Channels: RCN 614, Verizon 26, Comcast 22.
The event will also be streamed on Arlington Human Rights Commission Facebook page.
This year’s keynote will be delivered by Dr. Lynn Perry Wooten, the 9th President of Simmons University. Check out more about our guest.
