The last hockey match between Arlington’s cops and firefighters was three years ago. Pre-pandemic. But this year, this friendly tradition is once again on as these two teams take to the ice at the Ed Burns arena. We have a preview of Guns and Hoses 2022.

Arlington residents gather at the town hall auditorium to discuss their concerns with Arlington’s police chief and other officers. How better to do that than over a freshly brewed hot cup of joe?

We are not out of the woods yet. This pandemic is still lingering even as Arlington ever so slowly tries reaching some degree of normalcy. We spoke to the town manager about the latest efforts to keep residents relatively safe as we hopefully emerge from what has been a very trying 2+ years.

And we go back to war-torn Ukraine this week, as ACMi news talks to a public relations expert in Kyiv who found herself doing what she never thought she would do: scrutinizing Russian propaganda about this war and turning Vladimir Putin’s words against him.
