The Arlington Safe Travel Project aims to provide a safe connection for the Minuteman Bikeway through Arlington Center and improve safety for all travelers.
MassDOT’s Arlington Center Safe Travel Project is expected to start the first week of April 2016. Pre-construction set-up will occur the week of March 14. The project area is around the intersection of Mass. Ave. and Pleasant Street Intersection. The primary goal of the project is to provide a safe connection for the Minuteman Bikeway through Arlington Center, improve roadway safety and mobility for all users, plus upgrade infrastructure (roads, signals, and curb ramps) in the project area. The length of the project is estimated at one construction season.
