Central Fire Station

Arlington’s Central Fire Station is fully operational after a year-and-a half of renovations. The 5 million-dollar plus overhaul updated the building’s systems and interior. The update also allows the Fire Chief to work in the same building as the fire-fighters themselves. Fire Headquarters officially moved this week after being housed in the Community Safety building. This is the last of Arlington’s three fire stations to undergo work that takes firefighting into the 21st century, as APN found out on our visit.
