It’s flu season again. Studies conducted in the 2011-2012 season show that flu vaccines are able to reduce 71% of flu-related hospitalizations among adults of all ages. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that people get vaccinated, since the flu virus varies every year. APN spoke to Arlington’s Public Health Nurse to discuss flu and vaccination options available this year.
