In Arlington the love when viral as St. Johns Coffeehouse hosted 18 musician who played two and a half hours of fantastic music. All this while nearly 70 donors rose to the occasion and contributed nearly $3,000. It was all part of the Gimme Shelter Coffeehouse Fundraiser which was held on May 16th.
This event was live-streamed on the St. Johns Coffeehouse Facebook page. The money raised goes toward the fabulous work that Food Link does right here in Arlington. Some of that money also went toward several musicians, many of whom have been affected greatly by this pandemic. Here are some highlights from the event.
