A vigil in remembrance of the insurrection that occurred one year ago at the nations capitol was held at Whittemore Park Thursday night, January 6th. This event was unanimously approved by the select board at its December 20th meeting. You’ll recall, the U.S. Capitol attack took place on January 6, 2021 in an attempt to overturn the results of a legitimate U.S. presidential election.
