Arlington’s newest mode of transportation is taking off. Those lime colored bicycles you’ve seen around town–they’ve had two-thousand plus rides since coming to the community at the end of June. That’s according to data from provider Lime. Nat Strosberg of Arlington’s planning department tells APN that that’s a robust showing for a new concept.
Lime partnered with the town and fourteen other communities through the metropolitan area planning council. The bike sharing company is one of a growing number utilizing dockless bike systems. With the app and a credit card you can pick up and drop off bikes anywhere in the community.
